Background
Our work photographing plants and developing identification services commenced back in the 1990s. The collection of this material has also given rise to a TV series and several books. NatureGate’s research and development working group was set up in 2006, within the University of Helsinki’s department of teacher education, led by Professor Mauri Åhlberg.
